About MP Star Personal

Staffing for hospitality since 2015 — Mallorca, Germany, Switzerland

For hotels, restaurants, events, private villas and fincas.

We are a staffing agency for temporary and permanent hospitality roles: chefs, service staff, bartenders and housekeeping for hotels, restaurants, events and private villas — on Mallorca, in Germany, Switzerland and across Europe.

A chef hired for a single dinner at a finca, waiters for a wedding, a bartender for the season, a housekeeper on a permanent contract. We work with hotels and restaurants as well as private clients, family offices and exclusive residences.

After more than ten years we know that skill alone is not enough. Whether someone truly fits a house — or merely fills a shift — is decided by manner, discretion and judgement.

Mallorca — and well beyond

Staff for Mallorca, Germany, Switzerland and across Europe

From Palma to anywhere in Europe — wherever someone is needed.

We place chefs, service staff, bartenders and housekeeping in Germany and Switzerland just as we do on Mallorca — for hotels, restaurants, events and private households, by the day, for a season or on a permanent contract.

Everything an assignment off the island involves, we organise: travel, accommodation and the formalities that arise when working elsewhere in Europe.

It works both ways: anyone at home in Germany, Austria or Switzerland who works in a kitchen, in service or behind a bar can apply here just as easily — for a season on Mallorca or for a permanent role.

Created by people who know their craft.

Impressions from weddings, corporate functions and private evenings in villas and fincas staffed by our team — plus the day-to-day work in hotels and restaurants.

  • Outdoor reception at sunset: guests among olive trees, a long buffet in front and chefs at a serving station
Working outdoors means no second stove and no store room next door — everything has to be right beforehand.
  • Empty dining room before service: light wooden tables and chairs, dark leather banquettes, brass details on the walls
The hour before the first guest decides how the evening goes.
  • A hand garnishing thinly sliced raw fish on a dark plate with a leaf of salad
The last seconds at the pass decide how a dish looks.
  • Made-up hotel room with a freshly linened double bed, bedside lamps and a bed runner
A room is finished when the guest notices nothing at all.

Kitchen and service work as one — at an event you notice it immediately.
  • Motor yacht under way on the open sea, side view of the hull with spray
Different rules apply on board than ashore — tight spaces, fixed times, no resupply.

Private cooking means cooking for a few and still sending every course like a restaurant.
  • Chef flambéing in an open kitchen in front of guests while a second chef plates alongside
Cooking in front of guests is its own job — you are being watched while you work.

The pass is where it is decided whether an evening runs smoothly.
  • Waiter in a white service jacket advising guests at a laid table on a seaside terrace
Advising well means knowing the menu, reading the guest and pushing nothing.
  • Two hands in kitchen whites holding a plate of fried fish, chips, salad and a dip
The plate is the only thing that actually reaches the guest.
  • Housekeeper in a black uniform with white apron and white gloves tidying the coffee table of a hotel suite; a cleaning trolley with stacked towels and bottles on the left, seating and dining area behind
The gloves are not decoration: on polished surfaces every fingerprint shows.

Before you ask

Frequently asked questions

What clients ask us most often — answered briefly.

  • How quickly can you provide someone?

It depends on who you need and when. For short-notice assignments we usually call you back the same day and tell you honestly whether we have someone — or whether we do not. For longer periods and permanent roles we take the time a good match requires.

  • What does it cost?

There is no price list, because there is no standard assignment. An evening with two waiters is calculated differently from a seasonal hire or a permanent position. You receive a quote with all costs before anything is agreed — so you know the price before you decide.

  • Do you also place staff outside Mallorca?

Yes. We are based in Palma de Mallorca and our assignments take us across Europe — to Germany, Switzerland and other European countries. We organise what an assignment off the island involves: travel, accommodation and the formalities that arise when working abroad within Europe.

  • What if the person is not the right fit?

Then tell us, as early as you can. We look for a replacement and agree with you how to proceed. We are interested in a working relationship that lasts — a placement you are not happy with is no more use to us than it is to you.

  • How do you check qualifications and references?

We do not send CVs, we introduce people. We know every member of staff we propose personally — where they have worked, what they can do and how they carry themselves in a team. What someone tells us about themselves is where the conversation starts, not where it ends.

  • What languages does your staff speak?

German, English and Spanish are the languages we work in and in which our staff can generally make themselves understood. The languages each person actually speaks are listed in their profile — and if you need a particular one, tell us when you enquire.

  • Who pays travel and accommodation outside Mallorca?

This is agreed before the assignment and stated in the quote, so that nobody is surprised later. We organise it either way — you do not have to arrange flights or accommodation yourself.

  • Is there a minimum duration?

Anything from a single evening to a permanent position: by the hour, by the day, for a season or long term. For very short assignments it is best to call — two minutes on the phone settle what no form can ask.
